In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top photo and video apps on iOS in Poland showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. This analysis, derived from Sensor Tower data, highlights the key metrics for these popular applications.

CapCut - Video Editor experienced a significant boost in both revenue and downloads towards the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue began at around $21K in early July, gradually increasing to a peak of approximately $46K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar upward trend, starting at 23K and reaching over 50K by the last week of the quarter. Active user numbers fluctuated slightly but ended on a positive note, with around 80K users.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream maintained a robust presence with high active user numbers, consistently hovering around 4.5M throughout the quarter. Revenue saw a dip in early September, falling to $138K, but recovered to around $177K by the end of the month. Downloads also showed resilience, starting at 20K and peaking at 23K in mid-September before slightly tapering off.

Instagram demonstrated stable metrics across the board. Weekly revenue fluctuated mildly, peaking at $22K in early August before settling around $18K at the quarter's close. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 17K to 22K, while active users stayed steady at approximately 1.15M.

Snapchat showed a positive trend in active users, growing from 1.18M to 1.2M by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $14K in mid-September after starting the quarter at $6K. Downloads were stable, with numbers ranging from 9K to 11K throughout the period.

Lastly, Google Photos: Backup & Edit saw a moderate performance, with revenue fluctuating between $15K and $18K. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 8K weekly. Active users showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter with approximately 148K users.
